For Board Game Night, we played two new games, Jungo and Four Doors from @happycampergames. We lost and couldn't light the beacon in Four Doors but we look forward to a future attempt.

We also played Flock Together from Sea Cow Games. It's a quirky fun game that could be brutal to solve. Fortunately, we played on the intro level.

Valhalla's Gate has an expansive board game rental library and staff are regularly adding new titles to it. To rent, pick out a game, fill out the rental paperwork, take the game home to play, and then return it two days later. We try to make the process as simple as possible. Secret tip -- rent a game a day or two before a holiday the store is closed and you get extra time to play the game.

To facilitate yesterday's puzzle event and an upcoming board game event, we cleaned up the RPG room (soon to be the Great Hall), separated the tables, and took all the stuff we are just storing and stashed it elsewhere. I think it looks nice.

Fun time tonight puzzling with new friends. One group finished a 500-piece puzzle in less than an hour. The second group finished a different puzzle roughly 15 minutes behind them. Almost everyone had time to complete a second, or even a third, puzzle.

Our next Puzzles, PJs, and Cocoa event will be on Wednesday, December 17 at 6:30 pm. The plan is to tackle some 1000-piece puzzles.
