To kick off the Altered TCG Organized play Season 1, we are having a round-robin tournament here at Valhalla's Gate!

Sign in opens at 11am and closes when the tournament starts at 12pm.

- The format will be Standard (bring your own deck or buy a pre-built starter here)

Tonight's staff development was a game night. We played Life in Reterra, Kingdomino, Shipshape, and King of Tokyo Duel. Some even got an Altered TCG demo. We showed off Gateway Island, the Looney Oracle, and discussed Forges of Ravenshire, Flapjacks & Sasquatches, the Betrayal card game, and Skyrise.

Mark and I just returned from the open house. We saw lots of new games coming in fourth quarter 2024. My favorite of the show is the Boop the Halls! (Holiday Edition.) I love the game play and the added complexity the ornaments and levels bring to the game. The Boop cat plushie is darn cute, too! We are now taking special orders for Boop the Halls! and the plushie cat. Look for BOOoop (Halloween edition)to be back in stock in late 2025.

We are at the Alliance Open House talking to publishers, hearing about upcoming products, and playing game demos . Yesterday, we tried Panda Parachute and won a copy for our demo table. This morning we got to play King of Tokyo Duel. This 2-player game launches in October and will be on a demo table soon, too.

As many of our customers know, we send .PDF copies of roleplaying books for certain manufacturers upon the purchase of the physical book via the Bits &Mortar program. They migrated to a new server in late August, but the transition has not gone smoothly. Their website is still down and they are working on it. We will get .PDF copies to customers as soon as we can but thanks for being patient.
