Even though the new event space won't open until early 2026, construction of the walls and doors has already started. This means the Event Center is a bit chaotic this week. We will have things sorted better once the drywall is complete this weekend.

Rental games are unavailable for the next two days. Check back on Friday, November 7.

In case you didn't hear the news during our 25th anniversary celebration, Valhalla's Gate is expanding.

We will have more retail space, a miniature painting area, a dedicated roleplaying room, plus our card players will be able to have bigger tournaments with more space between the tables. The new, expanded event center is expected to open in February 2026.

Several of our staff and owners were on hand for our 25th birthday celebration. Thanks to Hy-Vee for making our delicious cake and decorating it thematically. Extra special thanks to Amanda Southard Fues for making an Alpha Gal friendly cake so I could enjoy cake too! It was delicious!

We have two upcoming Riftbound: League of Legends launch events.

The first is Sunday, November 2.
Check in at noon. Thr tourney begins at 1:00 pm. All players must have a Riot ID to register.

The second event is on Wednesday, November 5. Check in begins at 5:30 pm. Tourney begins at 6:00 pm.

Format is sealed, modified Champion Deck. Players will receive one starter and two boosters. Entry is purchase of deck and boosters plus tax ($36).

All participants will receive a two-card, promo pack, while supplies last.

The tournament is limited to 16 players.
Best of three rounds.
