They finished painting and installing the barn door on the RPG room and because we had enough staff working today, we tackled cleaning off the drywall dust and moving the rental game library closer to its final location in the new arrangement.. Some tables moved around into temporary positions to facilitate building puzzles and playing board games.

Valhalla's Gate is a small, local business that can't really offer bargain basement prices on hundreds of games for Black Friday. Instead, we offer Board Game Mystery Gifts. These are complete board games for at least two players sold at superlative prices. The only information on the tag is the number of players, the length of play, and the basic genre of the game. You can buy gifts for yourself or for friends and family. Best of all they are already wrapped in brightly colored holiday paper featuring pandas. Please note that Mystery Gifts cannot be returned or exchanged.

This year we also will have an Orphaned Board Game Expansion Sale. These are expansions that we no longer have the core game in stock and are unlikely to be able to easily acquire. Orphaned Expansions will be offered 60% off on Friday.

'Tis the season for new games AND new plushies. Our restock from Warmies contains several fun, new plushies including a possum, Snoopy as Joe Cool, a green gingham-eared bunny, a blue axolotl, a T-Rex, a red Stegosaurus, and a coiled snake. We were able to restock the chicken and best of all, they found a few geese for us to sell. I expect these will be the very last geese we receive before it is out of print. Our most popular Warmies have been restocked, too.

MTG Avatar the Last Airbender Prerelease is this weekend.

Friday - Tourney fires at 6 pm
Saturday - Tourney fires at 1 pm
Sunday - Tourney fires at 1 pm

Check in begins 45 minutes before the event.

There are 5 Avatar character kits -- Aang, Katara, Toph, Zuko, and Azula. Each event has a limited number of each character and the PR kits will be handed out evenly.
